Kansas City Riverfront Streetcar Winning

What politicos seem to like about this project is that there was NEVER a public vote on the extension or surrounding development. 

Here's they hype  . . . 

The streetcar will stretch from its current northern terminus at Third Street and Grand Boulevard, across the Grand Boulevard viaduct to the middle of the Berkley Riverfront — within a five-minute walk of the Kansas City Current's future stadium.

Streetcar Authority gives new look at riverfront extension before construction starts next year [RENDERINGS] - Kansas City Business Journal

By the middle of 2023, Kansas City will have two streetcar extensions underway, to either end of the 2.2-mile existing route, as workers are scheduled to begin laying tracks for a $34.9 million stretch to the middle of the Berkley Riverfront.
