Kansas City Homicide #162: Latest Deadly Gunfire On The Paseo

One of our MOST KICK-ASS TKC READER reminds us that this is the 2nd murder so far on this week on the iconic KCMO boulevard.

 Homicide: Truman and Paseo

This morning at about 3 AM, officers were dispatched to Truman and Paseo on a shooting. Upon arrival they found an adult male victim outside of the convenience store who had been shot and was unresponsive. Officers began CPR. EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased. We do not have any suspect information at this time and are asking for the public’s help.


Detectives and crime scene personnel have responded to the scene and are actively canvassing for witnesses and processing the scene for evidence. If you have any information please call the Homicide Unit at 234-5043. If you wish to remain anonymous you can call the TIPS hotline at 474-TIPS, with up to a $25,000 reward for an arrest in this case.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department is investigating after a man was found unresponsive outside of a convenience store Wednesday morning. At around 3 a.m. officers were dispatched to the corner of Truman Road and The Paseo for a reported shooting.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City, Missouri, police investigated a homicide Wednesday morning near Truman Road and The Paseo. Police were called to that location around 3 a.m. on a report of shots fired and found an adult male dead outside a gas station. He had been shot.

Police identity early morning homicide victim shot outside of a KC gas station

Kansas City Police were investigating a homicide early Wednesday morning.Police said they were called to a gas station near Truman and Paseo just after 3:00 a.m.Officers said a man had been shot outside the BP gas station. Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene.Police identified the victim as 27-year-old Joshua Williams on Wednesday afternoon.KCPD said they do not have any suspect information.
