Kansas City Records 2nd Highest Homicide Count In History For 2nd Year

Tonight Kansas City achieves a horrible yet familiar milestone.

Again, this is worth repeating . . .

THE LATEST KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE MARKS THE SECOND DEADLIEST YEAR IN KANSAS CITY HISTORY FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW . . . OUTPACING LAST YEAR'S RATE OF KILLING!!!

On December 1st of 2021 the murder count was only 140 for a total of 157 homicides reported.

Now . . .

Obviously the stats continue to trend upward.

For us, the most tragic aspect of this crisis is that the loss of human life is overshadowed by debates over money and power by our political leadership.

Gun control, police funding and partisan politics dominate most discussions of worsening KCMO violence.

Meanwhile,  the slaughter continues.

Here's the report . . .
