Catholics are often taught that our faith can't really be contextualized without understanding overlap between Judaism and Christianity.

Santa trumps most of the spiritual significance of the holiday season.  

Sorry but the numbers back me up here . . .

Anyhoo, here's another worthy reminder about empathy for all people at the end of the year . . . Which is pretty much the point of any worthwhile belief system.

"The alarming increase in antisemitism in recent years requires an active response. One way Christians can help is by making sure that our celebratory Christmas worship services don't add to the problem, even if just inadvertently. That would deny and dishonor our faith's deeply Jewish roots."
