Kansas City Ethics SMACK DOWN After Council Aide Caught Snooping!!!

Gotta run this one as a blind item to keep safe but Kansas City insiders have been talking about this hot mess all week behind the scenes . . .

Here's a peek at the story that has a bit of pandemic intrigue woven into the drama . . .

A council aide was recently caught snooping in the city clerk's office by an Northland council dude. Apparently, the fishing expedition included desperate searching through a variety of dox that hopefully didn't include election materials . . . Because then this sitch could get serious.

One of our least favorite bumbling councilmen stumbled upon the sneaky political helper and quickly called out the assistant for his inquisitiveness. Very soon an ethics document might appear for the plebs who will remember that, as always, our blog community called it out FIRST.

Apparently, not all of council or the Mayor's office knows that the clerk's office often works remotely . . . And this pandemic era policy has sparked quite a few sketchy misunderstandings.

Moreover . . .

Once again we notice that security seems lax at 12th & Oak and the hybrid working environment has, obviously, sparked a great deal of palace intrigue.

Developing . . .
