Kansas City Downtown Water Infrastructure Remains Old & Busted

Kansas City taxpayers have passed MORE THAN A BILLION BUCKS over the past year dedicated to improving the pipes underneath downtown.

There was an EPIC water bill at the start of Mayor Sly's term . . . Hundreds of millions dedicated by way of GO BONDS along with HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS more pledged by Mayor Q with his GO Bond update.

Downtown luxury life is often hampered by low water pressure and busted valves.

"Crews are mobilizing, and repairs should take four to six hours to complete.

"The break also caused water to flood onto the street. KC Water worked quickly to clear water and debris from the streetcar rails."

KC Water working on water main repairs after break floods Main Street

KC Water is working to address a water main break at 900 Main Street. On Wednesday morning a 12-inch main break affected two customers in the area.Crews are mobilizing, and repairs should take four to six hours to complete.The break also caused water to flood onto the street.
