KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City mom remains behind bars, pending a bond review, in a case alleging abuse and neglect resulting in one child's death. Adair Fish appeared virtually in Jackson County Court for a bond review hearing Monday. That hearing was pushed to Thursday at 10 a.m.

A former choir director at Saint Thomas Aquinas in Overland Park has entered a guilty plea for child sexual exploitation. Joseph Heidesch, 46, appeared in court on Monday and entered a guilty plea to one count of sexual exploitation of a child - a felony.


Former St. Thomas Aquinas choir director admits to using hidden device to record students

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A former choir director at St. Thomas Aquinas admitted to using to a hidden recording device to tape students, among other things in a plea agreement announced Monday in a Johnson County, Kansas, courtroom. Joseph Heidesch, 46, was previously charged with four counts of child exploitation and 26 counts of breach of privacy.
