Free Ride Reality Check: Gunman Threatens Kansas City Bus Riders

Free bus rides championed by local politicos have sparked an unmitigated disaster for bus riders and actually served to push people away from the vital service. 

Sadly . . . 

Elected officials never really bothered to talk to the community before pushing bad policy . . . Time and again we've noted . . .

In the aftermath of a free bus ride mandate from city hall we've noticed increased violence, more complaints about poor service and long wait times, driver protest over staffing and . . . Of course . . . A decline in ridership.

KCMO police search for man who allegedly pulled gun on RideKC bus

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City, Missouri, police are asking for help in identifying a man who appears to have pulled a gun on a RideKC bus on Nov. 30 near Truman Road and Jackson Avenue. When the man tried to take a victim's cell phone away, a Good Samaritan stepped in to help, according to KCPD.
