We want to talk about this more later but the numbers are important if only because our blog was FIRST to break news about the possibility of an activist challenge to the status quo at City Hall . . . We're standing by that reporting but this data might provide a reason why there really isn't any viable conservative willing to put their money where their mouth is in KC proper.
Accordingly . . . Here are the numbers . . .
This data seyz that Mayor Q's approval rating is at 68% . . . And THAT is why we haven't seen a Northland challenger.

These numbers are from Jeff Roe's Remington Research - A GOP firm . . . So it's not like they're afraid to tell Q that he has probs. By the looks of these numbers, he doesn't . . .

REMINGTON REPORTS MAYOR Q'S FAVORABLE RATING IS 70% AND THAT KINDA SHOWS SOCIAL MEDIA TROLLING ISN'T AS EFFECTIVE AS WE HAVE BEEN LED TO BELIEVE!!!
There are a great many implications to be garnered from these numbers . . .
Just a few to start . . .
- KC should prep for more taxes. GO bonds 1 & 2 are unopposed but will be treated like a D-day victory.
- The 2nd term agenda is already taking shape . . . More on that soon as we watch other newsies glean their reports from TKC FIRST news.
- Remember that we noted Mayor Q has access to ONE MILLION BUCKS worth of campaign money. Given that he might not have a well-funded challenger for the Mayoral race . . . Local politicos are already speculating about what he'll do with that cash . . . Reminder — Congressman Cleaver isn't giving up ANYTHING any time soon.
