KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One person was critically injured in a crash involving a scooter Saturday night in Kansas City, Missouri. At around 10:12 p.m. Saturday, the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department responded to Red Bridge and Holmes roads after receiving reports of an injury crash.


3-year old dies in Smithville after being hit by vehicle

SMITHVILLE, Mo. - According to Missouri Highway Patrol, a three-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle on Friday night. A 2014 Ford F-150 was reversing and ended up hitting the victim. The driver was a 33-year-old woman who was arrested around midnight for felony driving while intoxicated, causing the death of another passenger, and driving while suspended, according to MSHP.

Police in Lawrence, Kansas, are investigating after an SUV crashed into a restaurant.It happened around 8:30 p.m. at the Big Mill on Friday. Police said three customers were hurt, but not seriously. The driver of the SUV was critically injured but is now in stable condition.Authorities also said the building is no longer structurally sound.
