KANSAS CITY SLUSH FUND REDUX: GO BOND PROJECTS CANCELLED!!!

This might not be a surprise to skeptical denizens of the discourse but it's still newsworthy. 

To wit . . . 

KANSAS CITY INSIDERS WARN THAT GO BOND PROJECTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED DESPITE CAMPAIGN PROMISES!!!

Here's the word . . .

"City Engineer from Public Works cancelled lot of projects without informing the Council. These projects were designed and expected to be constructed via GO Bond funds."

We sent a couple of messages on this topic and it seems to check out. 

Consider . . . 

This is the same thing that happened with GO BOND cash previously . . . 

A great many promises about sidewalks and infrastructure were made until the money inevitably ran out.  

This time around it's happening even more quickly . . .A couple of weeks after the election. 

Remember . . .

KANSAS CITY GO BOND PROMISES ARE WORTHLESS . . . ITS' JUST ANOTHER SLUSH FUND!!!

A quick example . . .

Last time around pet advocates claimed they would raise tens of millions of bucks to help contribute to GO Bond largess . . . THAT MONEY NEVER MATERIALIZED. 

Instead . . . 

The KC Pet Shelter won a no bid contract for KC animal services, fired all the dog catchers and cancelled their debt without a peep or vote from local taxpayers. 

Meanwhile . . . If anybody but smiling white women promised millions of bucks but never delivered . . . It's unlikely that locals would be so forgiving. 

Sadly . . . Very few people have ever bothered to ask about it. 

And so . . . 

The cowtown tax & spend cycle continues.
