KANSAS CITY SHOULD FEAR FIFA & WORLD CUP CORRUPTION!!!

The start of the World Cup has brought scathing indictments against a global pro-sports organization and their operations which seem to facilitate horrific cruelty.

Here's why this is important to Kansas City . . .

WITHOUT A SINGLE VOTE OR COMMUNITY MEETING . . . KANSAS CITY HAS INVITED ONE OF THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL SPORTING ORGANIZATIONS IN THE WORLD TO THIS COWTOWN AND ALREADY THE GAMES THREATEN TO COST TAXPAYERS MILLIONS!!!

Think about that for a sec . . .

A shadow committee sent the invitation.

Politicos & social media jerks signed on.

And now . . .

KCMO taxpayers will be required to fund the operation with MILLIONS without any say at all.

Again, let's remember that bigger better cities rejected World Cup soccer because of exorbitant costs as the reputation of pricey FIFA demands is known throughout the world.

But the sketchy situation doesn't stop there . . .

FIFA CONFRONTS GLOBAL OUTCRY FOR EMPOWERING HORRIFIC TREATMENT OF MIGRANT WORKERS IN ORDER TO BUILD STADIUMS FOR WORLD CUP 2024!!!

Sure . . .

Qatar is a sh*thole country and the games are an atrocity but here's what's REALLY important . . .

FIFA is standing by and seems complicit by ignoring alleged persecution of workers.

Accordingly . . .

Kansas City voters need to know what local politicos are dealing with in the coming years and so far our local media has only gleefully reported press junkets and watch parties

This journalism offers a better look at an organization that might be working with KCMO officials and how their behavior deserves further scrutiny . . .

"John Oliver discusses the Qatar World Cup, the human rights violations happening in the sporting event’s host country, and what perfection really means to David Beckham."

We don't mind linking and quoting this important statement again from Amnesty International . . .

"Since FIFA awarded the tournament to Qatar in 2010, the dire situation for migrant workers in the country has been widely publicized. Migrants and domestic workers continue to face a range of abuses including wage theft, forced labour, and exploitation.

"But the treatment of migrant workers is just one of a range of violations that make up the state’s troubling human rights record. Qatar’s authorities repress freedom of expression, freedom of the press and freedom of association; unfair trials remain concerning; women continue to face discrimination in law and practice; and laws continue to discriminate against LGBT individuals."

BBC ignores World Cup opening ceremony in favour of Qatar criticism

hen the Qatari government decided to spend millions of pounds on a World Cup opening ceremony featuring Morgan Freeman, Jungkook from BTS and hundreds of performers, it probably hoped it would be the moment when the global media finally focused on football rather than human rights.

Kamal was standing outside a shop with other migrant workers, having finished yet another grueling working day, when he and -- he says -- a few others were arrested this August. Without explanation, the 24-year-old says he was put into a vehicle and, for the next week, kept in a Qatari jail, the location and name of which he does not know.
