Mayor & Council are prepping to use 'short-term rentals' as a scapegoat for campaign season and direct neighborhood complaints and ire against big tech and anonymous interlopers.

It's a good enough campaign strategy that depends on low-information voters accepting more empty promises from local leaders who are completely bereft of new ideas.

Here's a form that they'll use to manufacture consent . . .

"Residents and owners or operators of short-term rentals are encouraged to take this brief survey by Dec. 15 to provide input and help shape future policies regulating short-term rentals. "
