Port Authority of Kansas City officials last week took a little more than 12 minutes to give an early nod to as much as $12.5 billion in industrial revenue bonds, through which future occupants of two coming Northland projects could receive property tax incentives.

Port KC's development committee recommended expressions of intent to approve bond issuances totaling up to $10 billion and $2.5 billion, respectively, for Rocky Branch Creek Technology Park, a 360-acre data center campus, and KCI 29 Logistics Park, a 2,136-acre industrial and office development site.
