Kansas City FOP Mailer Attacks Jackson County Exec Frank White

As we've noted previously . . . Po-po supporters and activists are stepping up their political game.

KANSAS CITY FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE SEND SCATHING MAILER ATTACKING JACKSON COUNTY EXEC FRANK WHITE!!!

Forgive us for our copy getting a little banged up . . .

But, after all . . . Political mailers are just glorified garbage and only occupy the hands of voters on the way to the circular file.

However . . .

This effort is worth considering . . . And we'll try to unpack it objectively . . .

The po-po opinion isn't unanimous . . . We noticed Jackson County Sheriff Forté sharing his support for the Exec via social media.

Also . . .

In the more progressive parts of Kansas City and the East side . . . The electioneering could potentially backfire. With a consistent stream of anti-police sentiment from MSM . . . A large swath of voters aren't inclined to vote with law enforcement. 

Political irony: The FOP quotes the Kansas City Star . . . One of their main critics. 

However . . .

Generally, older voters (read: the majority) tend to support public safety and for the middle-of-the-road electorate this message is powerful. 

Whilst the negative tone of the message is off-putting and risks inspiring backlash and even more negative sentiment against police from pathologically nice local residents . . . The bold snail mail statement undoubtedly grabs attention.
