That sounds about right as harsh time and yet another recession threatens local purse strings.

At her husband's nudging, she opened World's Window in Kansas City's Westport neighborhood, which allowed her to stay active while balancing being a new mom. Now 71, Buerge is ready to retire with her husband, Lonnie.
