Jackson County Exec Frank White Wins Reelection: Red Wave Misses Locally

Thanks to election watchers and newsies who answered some of my befuddled tweets . . .

TURNS OUT THAT THE SO-CALLED RED WAVE DIDN'T HAVE MUCH OF AN IMPACT IN THE METRO AS EXEC FRANK WHITE EARNS A SOLID VICTORY!!!

This is our last post until the morning but let's talk local tonight . . .

With a win for Rep. Sharice Davids & JoCo's Mike Kelly along with the Exec keeping his job . . . 

The "red wave" had a limited impact inside the metro as this population center held onto progressive gains. 

Of course we'll hopefully talk more about it later . . . Here's the number aftermath for now . . .

Frank White Jr. has retained his seat as Jackson County Executive, defeating Republican challenger Theresa Cass Galvin by 55% to 45%.

Frank White Jr. retains seat as Jackson County Executive

"Once again, I am honored by the voter's support in my continued leadership in Jackson County," White said in a statement.
