Report: Amazon Delivery Driver Mauled To Death By Dog In Excelsior Springs

The sheriff's office said the victim had injuries consistent with an animal attack and two dogs were spotted on scene that appeared to be aggressive.

Deputies shot one dog, which went in through a dog door and the fire department said they could hear dogs in the house with blood observed on the dog door.

Ray County deputies responded to a call about an Amazon truck that had been parked in front of a house off Highway O for several hours.

The victim may have died after suffering trauma injuries from animal bites. According to Ray County Sheriff Scott Childers, the incident happened near Highway O on Monday afternoon.

The Ray County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of an Amazon delivery driver Monday on a property in the Wood Heights area, which is outside of Excelsior Springs.Sheriff Scott Childers said the Amazon worker was found dead early Monday evening in a yard.
