Politico Terence Maddox Busted In Topeka

This local leader from The Dotte has a long history that we'll try to summarize quickly . . .

Years ago he burst onto the scene when his behavior was documented amid a disturbance at Legoland.

He confronted censure by the UG for that incident.

During the 2020 BLM uprising/riot on the Country Club Plaza . . . Mr. Maddox and his daughter were pepper-sprayed by police in a viral video. The larger than life leader demanded justice for the incident on record.

There was a settlement for $110K in that case.

This week . . . We're blogging the latest adventures of Mr. Maddox . . . Here are the basics of the story:

Topeka police indicated hospital security and the Overbrook police officer had to restrain Maddox, who resisted and struck the police officer.

After hospital staff released him, Maddox was booked into the Shawnee County Jail on two counts of battery and a bond of $2,000. Overbrook police also issued a notice to appear for driving on a suspended driver’s license, interfering with a law enforcement officer and for speeding.
