This is an important move that draws a line in the sand ahead of election season. Moreover, Rep. Ruiz is a SERIOUS KANSAS DEMOCRAT who is not only influential within his community but also has stepped up amid a dearth of leadership.

"A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION condemning five Kansas elected officials, United States Senator Roger Marshall, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt, and United States Representatives Ron Estes, Jacob LaTurner, and Tracey Mann, along with former Kansas elected official and then United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for facilitating and inciting insurrection and sedition against the United States and violence against its symbols and officers, including then Vice President Mike Pence and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and for conspiring with then President Donald Trump and others to willfully and knowingly lie to the People of the United States regarding the security and trustworthiness of electoral results, all in an attempt to invalidate the free and fair election of President Joseph R. Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris and calling for appropriate criminal charges, resignation or separation from office and inability to hold further public office."
