Kansas City Voters Ask: When Will Westport Get Legal Weed???

Nope, this isn't hype for Missouri Amendment 3.

Actually, we recently talked to Westport impresario Bill Nigro about the ballot issue and here's some of what he said . . .

"Still too expensive," Mr. Nigro quipped. "I've talked to customers in Westport about it and they're not going to jump through hoops for dispensaries when it's still far cheaper to go to their dealers. Sorry, but this effort doesn't really cut it. I'm not going to say how I'll vote one way or another. But I do know that it's not going to change much."

He continued . . .

"What I'd like to see happen is for Missouri to REALLY open up the process and allow more people to take part in the potential profits that might help alleviate some of the street dealers and the violence that always follows."

With that . . .

We talked about the future of KC's oldest party district if Amendment 3 wins. 

Real talk . . . Anybody with a nose understands that Westport is no stranger to marijuana. 

But the question persists . . .

WILL WE EVER SEE A LEGAL WEED SHOP IN WESTPORT???

Not any time soon.
