Perspective . . . That's about half the size of college football games BUT double the size of college basketball crowds.
Still . . .
We notice locals enjoying the crowd size conversation much more than any info about taxpayer subsidy of the stadium after PROMOTERS LIED that the stadium would be privately financed when they first debuted plans.
And so we merely share just a bit of hype for yet another local development scheme . . .
It was the largest attendance in Houston Dash history, which subsequently became the second largest playoff crowd in league history after the San Diego Wave bested it later Sunday night.

KC Current's game-winner makes history as they advance to semi-finals
HOUSTON - The Kansas City Current advanced to the semi-finals of the NWSL Playoffs after a late-goal from Kate Del Fava helped secure a win over the Houston Dash in each club's first-ever playoff appearance. Del Fava's game-winner and first-ever career NWSL goal came at the 99:32 mark of the game and, according to OptaJack, is the latest non-extra time goal in NWSL history.
The KC Current will have to take out the top seeded playoff team to keep its magical season going
The Kansas City current began its quest for a championship over the weekend. That quest continues after a goal from Kate Del Fava broke a tie in stoppage time to give the Current a 2-1 win over the Houston Dash in their first playoff game.
