Northland Neighborhoods Blast Kansas City Councilman Eric Bunch

Right now we focus on a bit of community news and politics that offers a preview of upcoming council elections.

The basics . . .

COUNCIL DUDE ERIC BUNCH SUFFERED PUBLIC, FACE-TO-FACE REBUKE IN TODAY'S NORTHLAND NEIGHBORHOODS MEETING!!!

The exchange was brutal by all accounts and deserves mention amongst 4th District voters . . .

The main point of contention was over promises to fix Vivion Rd. after years of pleading from neighbors . . .

SHOCK!!! SOME PARTS OF KANSAS CITY DON'T BELIEVE THAT BIKE LANES ARE THE SOLUTION TO THEIR PROBS & WOULD RATHER HAVE BETTER ROADS!!!

Sadly . . .

This Northland group didn't get either.

Council dude Bunch was hit with wave after wave of criticism and questions about broken promises.

To his credit . . . The councilman didn't reply angrily, acknowledged the complaints and, actually, didn't have much of a response at all.

Very wise people tell us that discretion is the better part of valor.

However . . .

The insults and political injury didn't stop there . . .

The NNI meeting was so intense that former council lady and longtime Northland leader Deb Hermann openly put forward the idea of video recording interviews with members of council in order to help hold them accountable.

With that . . . The meeting concluded and Northland neighbors seemed to be sending a very clear message to the councilman about their frustrations and his record.

Developing . . .
