Homicide 9300 block of Bales

Tonight about 7:45pm officers were called to the 9300 Block of Bales on a shooting call.

On arrival officers were directed to a shooting victim behind one of the apartment buildings there. Officers rendered aid and called for EMS to come to the scene. EMS declared the victim deceased here at the scene. Victim is an adult male.

Preliminary indication is that the victim was in the parking lot of a neighboring building when he had an interaction with one or more suspects that led to shots being fired and the victim being struck. The victim was located next to a neighboring building, unresponsive.

Detectives are canvassing the apartment complex hoping to find witnesses. Crime scene investigators are processing the scene for any evidence that will lead detectives to any suspect identity or any indication what led up to the shooting.

KCPD investigating fatal shooting in 9300 block of Bales Avenue

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the 9300 block of Bales Avenue. Police were called to the scene just before 7:45 p.m. Sunday. Officers located a shooting victim unresponsive behind an apartment building upon arrival.

One dead following shooting in the 9400 block of Bales

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - One person is dead following a fatal shooting Sunday night in Kansas City. The shooting happened around 7:50 p.m. in the 9400 block of Bales in KCMO. There's no immediate information about the victim. No suspect is in custody at this time.
