Henry Rizzo Earns IMPRESSIVE Support At Kansas City Uptown Theater Kick-Off

This week in Midtown Kansas City we noticed signs of an important shift local politics and a clear signal that a growing number of voters are searching for community based leadership that's more accessible than the current administration at City Hall.

More to the point . . .

HENRY RIZZO'S CAMPAIGN KICK-OFF FUNDRAISER EARNED EPIC TURNOUT THIS WEEK!!!

Here's what insiders are telling us . . .

Mr. Rizzo called upon friends, family and a diverse collection of local leaders from his more than 40 years of experience as an elected official and tireless campaigner.

This is what might interest voters . . .

The room included no less than a half a dozen elected officials and TKC insiders caught a glimpse of Council Lady Teresa Loar in the crowd and in an exceptionally (surprisingly) good mood.

We'll share this one later but one of Kansas City's favorite white hat historic preservationists also created a stir with his support for the Rizzo campaign.

Even better . . . An array of neighborhood and community leaders also reconnected with Mr. Rizzo and seemed enthusiastic about his return to public service.

What's interesting to TKC is that most people think of Midtown as a trendy and ultra-progressive enclave but this week moderate and neighborhood-minded voters dominated the politics of this part of town that's right in Eric Bunch's backyard.

As we noted previously. . . Mr. Rizzo garnered early support from former KCPD Chief Corwin which seems to signal a nod from law enforcement that might provide a contrast against the incumbent who demanded the resignation of former Chief Smith.

A funny tidbit . . .

Outside a cavalcade of cyclists were seen snooping around trying to take a peek inside the crowded event.

The money line . . .

Insiders were quick to notice quite a few people pulling out their checkbooks and pledging IMPRESSIVE sums to power this campaign that appears to be building momentum.

Developing . . .
