Have Kansas City Politicos Accounted For The Northland Red Wave?!?

This town is ignoring A LOT of stuff but it seems like everybody wants to politely disregard the impact of national politics on our little corner of the world.

Accordingly . . .

POLITICAL INSIDERS TELL TKC: GET READY FOR RISING GOP NORTHLAND ACTIVISM IN KCMO POLITICS!!!

Already . . . Let's forget that the nice side of the bridge, AND NOT DOWNTOWN, holds all of the population and housing growth

Here are a few ways the politics might play out . . .

- Notice that a few GOP hopefuls are already emerging for council contests and MAGA new strident Missouri GOP factions seem to be challenging the old guard of neighborhood-focused conservatives. Read: Deb Hermann can't do this forever, give that kindly woman a break!!!

- Money: The nice side of the bridge has more cash than in years past . . . Already they're working on a few way to flex those newfound muscles . . . More on that later.

- Longstanding resentment . . . The Northland has always been treated like this town's red headed stepchild. With more population and political power . . . Look for an ongoing feud to worsen following redistricting turning the Northland on its head. Moreover, there's not a lot of political will to include the Northland amongst other parts of town . . . Despite the fact that drawing political lines based on aquatic geography is kinda medieval and sad.
