Beleaguered Waldo Biz Suffer Kansas City Burglary Crime Wave

An embattled part of town has been targeted by crooks and meager profits have disappeared along with precious resources.

KCPD said it's been notified of at least four break-ins to businesses along Wornall Road. “They stole a few thousand dollars,” he said. “The cost to replace the doors was more than the money they stole out of the safe.”

Kansas City police investigate string of safe, locked cabinet burglaries in Waldo area

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department is investigating a string of locked cabinets and safe burglaries in the Waldo area. KCPD said it's been notified of at least four break-ins to businesses along Wornall Road. "They've probably been in there and knew where to go," said Steve Holle, founder of the KC Bier Company.
