Kansas City Visitors Decline By More Than Half After COVID?!?!

Recently, Prez Biden declared that the pandemic was "over" as the U.S. seems to be inevitability marching toward nuclear Armageddon with Russia. The conclusion of the plague is probably good news no matter the circumstances and offers us a moment of respite in order to gauge local recovery.

Accordingly . . .

RECENT HYPE FOR DOWNTOWN LUXURY LIVING SPACE REVEALS THAT KANSAS CITY'S ANNUAL VISITOR COUNT HAS DROPPED BY MORE THAN HALF SINCE THE PLAGUE!!!

Note that we typed ANNUAL because we wouldn't want to make any uncomfortable errors about how and where we stick our figures.

Here's the money line . . .

"After billions of dollars in investment, downtown KC now welcomes over 10 million visitors a year. Twenty years ago, that number was just 225,000."

Again . . .

10 million sounds like a lot but that number is less than half of what Visit KC currently claims right now on their website . . .

And again . . .

We all remember that many people found the 25 MILLION number so ridiculous that they clowned where the stat might have been pulled from . . .

Nevertheless . . .

What we notice now is more than a bit of confusion about Kansas City tourism numbers as this town still clinches our deeply hidden aspirations without much hard data to reach the breathtaking pinnacle by way of welcoming exotic strangers.
