Accordingly . . .

Two people killed overnight in a quadruple shooting at a house party confirms this trend as we notice very little political will to confront this problem in any way more significant than hyper-partisan culture war nonsense. 

Here's the first report . . .

Homicide 7300 block of Manchester

Tonight just before 10:45 PM, officers were called to a residence in the 7300 block of Manchester Avenue in regard to a shooting call.  Upon their arrival, officers located three victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  EMS responded and declared two of the victims deceased at the scene.

The third victim was transported to the hospital and was last listed in stable condition. A fourth victim showed up at the hospital by way of private conveyance and was also last listed in stable condition.

Preliminary information at the scene is there was a house party at the residence where the shooting took place.

Detectives and Crime Scene Personnel have responded to the scene.  They will be processing the scene for evidence and speaking to witnesses.  Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 816-234-5043.  Or you can remain anonymous by calling the Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.  There is a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.

Two killed in quadruple shooting

Kansas City, Missouri police are investigating a deadly quadruple shooting at a home in Kansas City, Missouri, Monday night.Police were called to 73rd and Manchester Avenue around 10:45 p.m. Monday. When they arrived, they found three people shot. Two victims died at the scene, the third was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Multiple shootings bring violent end to Labor Day in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Three separate shootings within an hour and a half of each other left three people in the hospital in critical condition, bringing a violent end to Labor Day weekend in Kansas City. The first happened late Monday night at 11:30 p.m. in the 7000 block of Blue Parkway.

Two people are dead, and two other victims are injured after gunfire erupted at a Labor Day pool party Monday night.It happened at a home near 73rd and Manchester in Kansas City.Kansas City Police officers have identified the two deceased victims as Deshawn Dudley, 26, and Dondre Hart, 20.The two other shooting victims were hospitalized and were in stable condition Tuesday afternoon.On Tuesday, Chris Dilla was loading hookahs he was hired to bring to the party into a car.He says he was about five feet from where the shooting occurred on Monday.
