Haphazard Kansas City Streetcar Expansion Continues To Shut Down Local Streets

In order to pass streetcar expansion . . . Sketchy elected officials and their counterparts were forced to carve out special voting districts and hide their vote behind even more questionable mail-in ballot schemes in order to disenfranchise a HUGE section of the electorate.

On the bright side . . . The toy train hasn't created much "density" to speak of so the street shut downs won't really impact that many people . . .

Part of Holmes Street closed until end of October

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A partial closure of Holmes Street between 1st and 3rd Street has been extended through the end of October. According to Kansas City Streetcar Constructors, the closure is part of the city's effort to expand the KC Streetcar Vehicle Maintenance Facility through underground utility improvements.
