For instance . . . There was a myth this project was "privately financed" that was AN ABSOLUTE FABRICATION. In fact, they want MILLIONS in tax breaks. 

But so does everybody else.

Also . . . 

THERE'S NO WAY LADY SOCCER IS GOING TO CONSISTENTLY LURE THOUSANDS OF FANS DOWN BY THE RIVER IN KANSAS CITY!!!

However . . . 

Smarter locals have theorized that this place might actually earn it's keep as an outdoor concert venue.

And that's something that locals might want to consider when this project is rammed down our throats by politicos talking out of both sides of their face.

Here's the argument . . .

"The Current’s stadium construction and operations would contribute to $729.5 million in total economic output within Kansas City, counting direct, indirect, and induced spending. That output could amount to $1 billion statewide over the same timeframe, the analysis found."

The Kansas City Current in April sought to study the team's local and statewide economic impact, including with its upcoming $118 million, 11,500-seat stadium at the Berkley Riverfront. The findings over the next 30 years are nothing but net, the team says.
