Kansas City Triple Shooting Sunday Aftermath

More local gunfire erupted overnight on Kansas City's southeast side.

Thankfully, nobody was killed.

Here are the basics in the aftermath of rampant shooting amid what seems to be another historic year for local violence . . .

"Police found one victim on the street suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital in non-life-threatening condition. Another shooting victim was located in a nearby vehicle and was also transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. A third victim was dropped off at a hospital at around 3 a.m. with life-threatening injuries."

3 injured in shooting at Peppermill Lounge South

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Police Department says three people were injured in a shooting at Peppermill Lounge South early Sunday morning. KCPD officers responded to a noise disturbance call at the business on Hickman Mills Dr. around 2:30 a.m. where a large crowd was gathered outside and heard gunshots.

Kansas City Police Department said the shooting occurred just before 3 a.m. Sunday morning at the Peppermill Lounge South in Kansas City, Missouri. The restaurant is located on Hickman Mills Drive just south of Longview Road.
