To be fair . . .

The Star could've taken some worthwhile biz advice from this well-to-do local fam rather than playing the role of loss leader for a hedge fund waiting to rip apart the McClatchy group and sell the scraps for more than the cost of the whole.

Furthermore . . . 

IF, big if, 12th & Oak manages to impose a downtown baseball stadium on taxpayers, the right honorable KC owners stand to profit by millions/billions. 

But until that time . . . 

The Priviteras are proud owners of an empty warehouse on east downtown land that's mostly occupied by hobos throughout the day and especially after dark.
