Kansas City Hotspot Swope Park Pavilion Endures Double Shooting Overnight

I haven't visited that iconic KC Park structure since I was a kid but I've seen it time and again on shooting & hip-hop videos. Visitors to Starlight typically gawk and quickly move past this embattled part of town and even a nearby hospital can't save so many shooting victims often hurt at this location.

Here's a quick glimpse at recent & enduring problems . . .

"Officers responded at 12:21 a.m. to the park’s pavilion on a call of a shooting. There they found two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. They were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Kansas City Police Department."

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Two men were shot at a large gathering at Swope Park early Wednesday morning, police say. Officers responded at 12:21 a.m. to the park's pavilion on a call of a shooting. There they found two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.
