Man in serious condition after shooting near Wyandotte Street

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department responded to a shooting early Wednesday morning. At around 2:30 a.m. police located a man with injuries from gunfire in the 10000 block of Wyandotte Street. Police say the man is in serious condition. Car running red light t-boned in deadly KCMO crash, police say

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A driver is dead after police say they ran a red light before getting t-boned and ejected Tuesday night in Kansas City. Police and emergency crews responded at 9:50 p.m. to Linwood Boulevard and Van Brunt Boulevard in reference to a rollover crash.

Olathe teenager charged with 1st degree murder in Saturday shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A 15-year-old male from Olathe, Kansas, has been charged with one count first-degree murder and one count juvenile possession of a firearm Tuesday after a fatal shooting Saturday in Olathe. Prosecutors are seeking to try the suspect as an adult, according to Johnson County Court documents.


Johnson County rolls out $3,000 bonuses to support sheriff's office

Jackson County honors slain North Kansas City police officer's life

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A fallen North Kansas City police officer is honored two weeks after he was shot and killed during a traffic stop. The Jackson County Legislature adopted a resolution recognizing 32-year-old officer Daniel Vasquez during the legislature's meeting Monday morning.
