Four injured in three-vehicle crash Sunday morning

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Police Department said four people are injured in a three-vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning. The crash happened around 1:40 a.m. when a police officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a grey Chrysler 300.


2 seriously injured in vehicle collision on Troost Avenue

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Three people were injured, two of which are in serious condition, after a two-vehicle collision Saturday night at East 77th Street and Troost Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. Shortly before 11:30 p.m., a black Chevrolet Caprice was driving north on Troost Avenue at speeds over 100 mph.


Inmate dies at Lansing Correctional Facility, homicide cited as cause

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - An inmate at Lansing Correctional Facility was reported dead on Sunday, Aug. 7. The facility reports the "apparent cause" of Fred Patterson III's death was homicide. Results of an independent autopsy are pending.


Man faces charges after deadly stabbing of former girlfriend

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A man has been charged Saturday after a deadly stabbing of his former girlfriend that occurred on August 4th. Andre M. Williams, 48, faces first-degree murder and armed criminal action charges. According to court documents, Raytown police responded to the area of 11900 Jessica Lane on a reported stabbing around 7 p.m.
