Kansas City 2022 Homicide Count Hits 92 Amid Election Time Silence

Just a few moments ago police shared data offering more info on the local rate of killing.

So far the KCMO homicide count has spiked to 92 this year compared to only 89 at this date on the calendar in 2021 -- The second highest total in KC's recorded history.

As far at the violence concerned . . . Here's a quick look at the update . . .

A suspicious death that killed a man inside of a car on Cypress Ave. over the weekend was ruled a killing.

And a fire investigation near the 5000 block of N. Oak has resulted in one homicide determination and possibly another depending on the Medical Examiner's office.

Our main point/question . . .

Do you know what local politicos would like to talk about instead of the historic murder spike that's impacting our entire KC metro right now???

ANYTHING!!! CULTURE WAR, TRANS RIGHTS, RACISM OR EVEN THE ECONOMY!!! MOST KANSAS CITY POLITICOS DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO CONTRIBUTE WHEN IT COMES TO CURBING THIS HISTORIC CRISIS!!!

Sadly . . .

Most voters, media and nearly every powerful person in this town allows our elected leaders to continue getting away with this tragic obfuscation.

In fact, in a horribly twist of fate that isn't exactly ironic  . . .

The very same politicos who lament the rate of local violence are complicit in attempting to direct funds away from police.

There might even be a lawsuit on this election issue very soon.

Developing . . .
