Kansas City-based Axiom Strategies LLC announced Tuesday that it has acquired a leading political consulting firm out of Pennsylvania. Partners Hank Hallowell, Rob Brooks and Anthony Pontarelli of Hallowell, Brooks & Pontarelli (HBP) join Axiom as senior consultant, vice president and political director, and senior associate.

Acquisitions play a large part into the success of Axiom, with the firm typically making two or three a year, according to previous KCBJ reporting. Bringing in new talent with different perspectives and skill sets is essential to the firm’s growth, founder Jeff Roe said.
