Election Season Road Work: Kansas City Mayor Q Shares Even More Street Repaving Promises

And so . . . We have a campaign trend emerging . . .

Having FAILED to curb the local murder rate and violent crime during his tenure . . . Mayor Q now hypes street repaving as election season approaches.

Again, he's aiming far too high . . . Here's why . . .

In this Saturday blast Mayor Q imagines that he'll be able to fix Wornall.

Sadly, better men have tried and FAILED to effectively patch one of the ugliest roads in the Midwest.

Credit where it's due for even trying . . .

"Trust me, we hear you. I am going to talk to Public Works and we will have a special meeting on road issues on Wornall (south of Gregory) and North Oak Trafficway. I have always heard it is about the concrete and the poor fixes of the past that make things challenging and very expensive to repair in particular on those streets now."

So far we notice some encouragement and just a modicum of skepticism
