Kansas City 1st Annual Keyboard Enthusiast Convention Defies Stereotypes

The tools of the trade hold a special place in the heart of many keyboard warriors and this off-beat collection of enthusiasts deserves another mention after a SUCCESSFUL gathering.

Moreover . . .

This missive reminds us to consider our own TKC community . . . Over the past few days we've been letting a few comments linger in the queue as we try to focus on stuff we like rather than letting haters have too much influence on our beloved bloggy dump.

Bottom line . . . We'd like to refocus on funny or, at least, clever commentary from alternative points of view amongst the local discourse . . . Keep that in mind when sending us a shout out i.e. we don't want to take up any crusades that will tear us away from video game time.

Nevertheless . . . Close readers can also take time to tell us what we might improve or offer any kind of suggestions . . . Given that any comment left by way of keyboard is on topic.

And now . . .

Here's the word on what looks like a really fun & quirky qwerty meetup . . .

"Even though we were all the way downtown, this is Kansas City and not New York City, and most of the keyboard enthusiasts about town were already accounted for. Hmpf. I still say we should try a sandwich board next time. We could go meta and mention the tiny sandwiches inside. Don’t worry — there was plenty of sanitizer and napkins to go around, plus a box of gloves."

Maiden Kansas City Keyboard Meetup Was A Clacking Good Time

Wow! I can't believe it already came and went - but the first annual (semi-annual?) Kansas City Keyboard Meetup was, in my opinion, a rousing success. And I think organizer and Discord-nominated god among men [Ricardo] agrees with me. (He does; I checked before we left the venue.)
