THEY'RE BACK!!! DOWNTOWN KANSAS CITY RAT INFESTATION REDUX 2022!!!

The cruel Summer of 2022 just became a bit more challenging for residents in and around the loop.

COVID numbers are rising, the American economy confronts historic inflation and a challenging road forward, monkey pox isn't just a scary but funny stand-up joke . . . And now . . .

THE NUMBER OF DOWNTOWN KANSAS CITY RATS IS CLEARLY ON THE RISE AS VERMIN POUR OUT ONTO THE STREETS AMID CONSTRUCTION SEASON!!!

Here's the word from a denizen of our blog community . . .

"Just look down at a stoplight in the morning or at dusk . . . Those ain't friendly squirrels, they're 8 pound rats pushed out of the sewers and ready to feast. I don't want to blame anybody, it's not just the homeless or really slipshod road repaving projects . . . It's everything. Maybe even a sign of more people coming back into offices. But the fact is, this is a big city problem that very few people want to talk about . . . Even if its right in front of them and maybe showing up at a few of those new outdoor cafes."

Remember . . .

We broke this story back in 2017 and then local news followed-up up with even more gross-out coverage.

To their credit . . .

Fox4 reported last year that KCMO is one of the "rattiest" cities in the U.S. and it seems that we're backing up that reputation in 2022.

Developing . . .
