COUNCIL LADY SHIELDS BLAMES MISSOURI GOP FOR WESTPORT MASS SHOOTING WHILST BIZ LEADER BILL NIGRO PLEADS FOR DIVERSITY BUDGET RELIEF!!!

Here's a peek at both sides of the dispute . . .

Shields works with Westport businesses to address safety in monthly meetings.

“I think we’ve done what we can do," she said. "If anyone has ideas of what we can do, I’m certainly open to them, but I don’t know what else we can do."

Shield says now it comes down to gun laws.

“The control has been taken away from the local jurisdictions, so we have to look to our state government," Shields said. "They are not responsive currently on these issues and that’s why I go back to the voters."

A retort and a fun fact we mentioned yesterday was reiterated this morning on Pete Mundo's show . . .

"#Westport's Bill Nigro says on @KCMOTalkRadio that @QuintonLucasKC and @K_J_Shields have forced Westport to spend 10% of its security budget on @AdHocGAC, costing them over 100k/yr, for a group that "monitors" how/when they check for guns on weekends. Says it's wasteful spending."
