Kansas 'Value Them Both' Opposition Turning Into Anti-Catholic Campaign?!?

A controversial Kansas vote on abortion has unleashed a wave of local anti-Catholic attacks.

It started with vandalism earlier this Summer and then over the course of the past few weeks progressive media and mostly the newspaper took aim at the Catholic Church and its top ranking leaders.

To be fair . . . As a rule, the Kansas Catholic hierarchy is comprised of clerics who are exceptionally pious, pedantic and not ready for prime time. Don't confuse this post for any advocacy on their behalf.

Still . . .

As the anti-Catholic rhetoric & some pretty funny memes took hold via social media; there was an important effort to show diversity amongst this Christian denomination and remind locals that most KC area Catholics practice their religion "cafeteria style" and only hold on to the stuff they find valuable . . . In much the same way that many faithful teetotalers only drink booze outside the company of their congregation.

But I digress . . .

The main point . . .

On Sunday it's appropriate to ask the question . . .

IS SO MUCH VITRIOL AGAINST "VALUE THEM BOTH" LEGISLATION REALLY JUST CLANDESTINE ANTI-CATHOLIC RHETORIC?!?

Look closely at some of the better memes and overall sentiment . . . And the headlines directly targeting this faith community . . .

One of our trusted insiders argues . . .

"If these attacks were aimed at any other minority group . . . The would rightly be described as a hate crime."
