"In April of this year, Davids and 18 other congressional colleagues called for a ban on members, their spouses, and dependents from owning or trading securities, citing a conflict of interest for those conducting legislative oversight of publicly traded and the need to “improve transparency and accountability” according to Rep. Davids.

"The Sentinel reached out to Rep.Davids for comment, but she did not respond."

Rep. Sharice Davids, currently in a battle for re-election, quietly liquidated her investments in a handful of green energy companies that lobby Congress for taxpayer-financed subsidies a day after those investments were revealed in an online publication. The Washington Free Beacon reported on that the Kansas Democrat owned some $17,000 in FuelCell Energy, Maxeon Solar Technologies, and SunPower Corporation.
