Just as we've always argued . . . LOVE is the least important thing about a wedding.

With very few exceptions . . . It's a phony middle-class party thrown to gain and/or secure social standing, inspire jealousy, heal perceived inadequacies and perpetuate the myth that ANYBODY really wants to taste a chocolate fountain. 

Worse still . . . 

Weddings are an integral part of propping up mediocre businesses. 

Check-it and then do everybody a favor and elope . . .

This year will be a banner year for weddings, with some 25% more couples saying “I do” in the U.S. than usual, according to industry estimates. For businesses, the boom is a much-needed second wind after two years of pandemic-related restrictions and delays. Vendors and venues are stretched to capacity, booked out months or even years in advance.
