A quick reality check against disconnected newspaper ranting . . .
The interim Chief actually has a great deal of respect from colleagues & community and there isn't much outcry over recent police action except amongst the closed Twitter circle of MSM pundits and their acolytes.
Nevertheless . . . Here's their gentle and mostly pointless chiding . . .
