Critical Injury Crash: Truman & Prospect

"AIS responded to meet East Patrol officers on a reported Injury Accident with critical injuries. Investigation revealed that the victim was at the bus stop located just south of Truman Road on Prospect. A KCATA bus was pulling away from the bus stop traveling southbound on Prospect. 

For reasons unknown, the victim grabbed ahold of the bus as it pulled away from the bus stop. The victim lost his grip on the bus, falling to the ground and was subsequently run over by the rear wheels of the bus. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The bus driver was uninjured. At the time of this report, the victim is in extremely critical condition and the investigation is ongoing."
