Kansas City Light Rain Confirms Cowtown Driving Skills Degraded

Quick question and sorry if the quandary makes me seem even more curmudgeonly . . .

WHEN DID KANSAS CITY FORGET HOW TO DRIVE IN SLIGHTLY INCLEMENT WEATHER?!?

Most will blame COVID . . . I like the theory that less competition on the road caused people to get too lax about their skills.

Still . . .

The stats prove me out on this one as the number of crashes persist . . . Today's rain likely spiked the number of fender benders.

Here's one of the most stunning . . .

"Police said the woman driving the car was going west on Independence Avenue when she lost control of her car.The car crossed over the center line and hit two streetlights, police said. The car overturned and hit the front of the restaurant. No one was sitting in that area of the restaurant when the accident happened and no injuries were reported in the business, police said."
