Kansas City 'Hip-Hop Renaissance' Should Offset Mass Shooting???

Don't ever tell me this blog doesn't find all the good stuff on the local Internets for your reading pleasure.

An argument from a newbie blog . . .

A local musical trend is more important than 4 people getting shot and a car break-in spree that cost thousands worth of damage.

TKC loves music just as much as anybody but that level of fandom seems callous.

Here's the money line from the "defender" blog . . .

"While local media outlets chose to highlight the unfortunate outburst of violence that took place outside and unrelated to the concert, the concert itself was a positive and important moment for our city’s culture."

Also . . .

The argument that violence & property crime was "unrelated" to the concert is simply a factual error as many of attendees testified to MSM and authorities later.

To be fair . . .

If this is merely a troll for attention: It's pathetic, desperate and sad but probably still effective.

Whilst TKC has a weakness for worthwhile hip-hop . . . The ranting did, in fact, inspire me to check their sketchy online publishing outfit.
