Because it's not a Kansas City party until somebody makes a life/death decision that they'll be haunted by forever.

Caveat . . . Don't take our snark the wrong way . . . We aren't hating on this toast to one of history's most controversial and tragic medical procedures . . . We're merely marking the celebratory hype . . . Apparently, the boozy outlet is frustrated for the heat they're taking . . .

Again, we're not here to tell anybody what to do . . . People party for all kinds of reasons and we're all entitled to grieve in or own way.

In fact, it seems like it would be appropriate to work up a nice buzz before supporting a practice or making a decision that will end a life.
